Nicotine Limits Rule & TPMP Rule Moved to Long Term Actions

Today, the advanced preview of tomorrow's Federal Register indicates that the Executive Branch will update the Unified Agenda, the master list of all regulations that will be taken up over the coming year.

This action by the Executive Branch is highly unusual because the new Unified Agenda is not due until May.

Of greatest significance is that both the Nicotine Limits rule and the Manufacturing Practices rule have been moved from "Final" to "Long Term Actions."

This action by the Trump Administration means that they do not intend to move forward with either rule.
