My Father Cigars and Tatuaje Release La Union
PCA | January 25, 2024
To commemorate the 20th working relationship between My Father Cigars and Pete Johnson, My Father Cigars and Tatuaje have released a limited-edition premium cigar named La Union.
Jose “Pepin” Garcia and his children, Jaime and Janny, began making cigars in My Father Cigars’s Miami, Florida, cigar factory nearly 20 years ago. Their first private label client was Pete Johnson, founder of Tatuaje Cigars. It was in early 2003 when Johnson and Pepin first met at an event in Los Angeles, California. Immediately, Johnson knew Pein was the man that he wanted making his cigars. From that day onwards, the Garcia family and Johnson have worked closely together–blending, manufacturing, and distributing cigars throughout the world.
La Union is the product of this long relationship between the Garcias and Johnson. The logo for this new premium cigar features an artistic rendering of Pete Johnson shaking Jaime’s hand with Pepin blessing the union, representing the bond and commitment to family and hard work that the Garcias and Johnson have had since they first started making cigars together in 2003.
Here is an overview of the La Union Prominente Especial Black and Red Box:
