Loomis Cigar Cartel

Founding:

The Loomis Cigar Cartel started as a social group at our local brick and mortar shop Tobacco Republic in Loomis, California.  We decided to venture as the Loomis Cigar Cartel to Cigar Aficionado’s Big Smoke Las Vegas for a weekend of cigars, drinks, and fun.  We had a custom designed shirt that morphed into the present logo.  While attending the event with my friends, Roy, Scott, Craig, Bob, Louis and I were frequently stopped by fellow cigar smokers, vendors, and people off the street asking who we were and what we were about.

Friends:

What links all the founders, brothers and sisters of the leaf, and friends of the Loomis Cigar Cartel: friendship and the love of cigars. All of us involved with the Loomis Cigar Cartel have been friends for many years, we all met at Tobacco Republic, we all hang out, smoke, hunt, fish, and take trips together.  Camaraderie binds all cigar smokers no matter who they are, what their station in life is or their financial situation.

The Cartel:

Since our trip to Las Vegas Scott, Wes, Larry and I have worked very hard to make the Loomis Cigar Cartel what it is, Cigars, Fine Spirits, and Camaraderie.  We stand behind that in everything we do.  We strive to bring you content through our various platforms and social media that is informative, amusing and helps you along your cigar journey as we have been helped by others along ours.  We currently operate loomiscigarcartel.com, Beyond the Humidor (our official podcast), as well as Facebook and Instagram.

Scott, Wes, Larry and I sincerely hope that you will enjoy our podcast, and invite you to interact with us on social media, and the web.  We look forward to sharing our journey and experiences with you and hope that you too, enjoy the ride.
